Tasty Treat

One of my favorite parts of the trip to the East Coast was Tasty Treat, the most perfectest of all the crappiest miniature golf places you could ever dream of!

It really was quite charming.

Do you think they cover this up when it's not open? Or some poor guy has to twisty-tie this bad boy with wire every morning and every night?

A little soft serve before our round of mini-golf.

Gimme, gimme, gimme!

Danny and Julie got black raspberry ice cream w/ chocolate sprinkles.

Looks pretty rigorous huh?

Makeshift flags. Cool.

Eww... Totally not cool.

So maybe we didn't do a ton of mini-golfing, but we sure did get plenty of goofy photos.

Can you believe Sally was actually the first to go in the infamous Well?!

I didn't catch his name but he was a delight.

Danny and the Well

Wicked good time.

The Tot and I just returned from a whirlwind trip to Boston for one of his cousin's weddings. We pretty much blinked and the trip was over but I have some fabulous pics from the trip to keep the memory alive a bit longer... or at least until I have to go back to work tomorrow.

Driving through the tunnel.

Boston foliage

Creepy cemetery where Ben Franklin and Paul Revere are buried.

We didn't have time but next time we'll have to hit this walking trail  which allows tourists to see 16 historical sites in the city.

Illustrating fashion

Fashion Illustration has always been a talent that I've long admired. The translation of a garment by illustration is not only visually stunning but utterly unique from the artist's perspective.  I thought I would share with you some of my favorite fashion illustrators who are magnificent and awe-inspiring.
Ruben Toledo - you've might have seen his work from the old Nordstrom ads.

Gladys Perint Palmer - (she was actually one of my teachers at the Academy of Art University)

Tanya Ling

David Downton - I love the drawing of Dita Von Teese (3rd down)
