I'm ready for some warm weather and I am definitely going to get a new pair of wedges. 

Turtle Power

Last weekend Nathan's good friend Barry and his wife Lindsay were visiting from Colorado. (I'll have more posts of where we ate because I am still dreaming about that delish food)

Anyway, it just so happened that my FIL's were in Arizona and Danny was watching Sadie-boo so we did what any smart late-20-somethings would do… invite people over like we are in high school and take advantage of their house. While we enjoyed cocktails and conversation we had a classic movie on in the background and I'd like to share some pics...

You remember those gross things? Tokka and Rahzar. I had to look that up, by the way.

Moscow mule

So when I say Moscow Mule what do you think? If you were me; you'd think a donkey with an ushanka on. 

But no. You are wrong. It's this lovely drink that is delicious and served in a mighty fine cup. 

Here's a recipe:

Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients

Moscow Mule Recipe

• 1 ounce vodka
• 1 tsp. sugar syrup
• Fresh lime juice
• 1/2 cup ginger beer
• 1 sprig fresh mint
• 1 slice of lime

Directions

In a copper mug, pour vodka over ice. Add sugar syrup and lime juice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with mint sprig and lime slice.

Chap city

With the cold weather comes dry skin... and even worse dry lips!

Ick.

My chapstick standard is Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm. But to give my lips some extra TLC and beautify them I've been using Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer. There is just a hint of color and all the nourishing power of the classic lip balm. Doubly good.

Up, up and away
