Brody, Jenny, Maddox & Lena

My boss is really awesome. No, I am not just saying that because she reads my blog (Hi Jenny!) though it probably doesn't hurt. Since she's so awesome and everything; she of course has an awesome family too. Duh.

Don't believe me? Well, see the awesomeness for yourself. :)

Aren't they a good-looking bunch? Yep.

Poor Brody. Lena was jealous of Maddox and jumped ship onto Mom's lap. Brody said he's used to it. Ha.

I call this "The TV Trance". Still freaking adorable when they are watching the tele though.

Lena being Lena. She definitely takes after her momma.

It's Cookie Time! They may or may not have been bribed at this point.

Oh and I can't forget Stevie! Woof.

Thanks to Jenny & Brody for letting me take a few shots. Can't wait for it to get warmer to take some more! xo

How much is that doggie in the window?

I have a problem. I have puppy envy and it's getting hard to control.

It started about a month ago after Nater and I had watched Sadie. This led to us discussing what kind of dog we'd like when we get a house with a yard (my pick: English Bulldog; his pick: Boxer. But even if we go the mutt route we still want one small dog and one big dog) and subsequently everytime I see an adorable pooch or even hear all about the cuteness doggies possess I get a rush of puppy envy. To make matters worse Courtney posted about Erin Vey, dog photographer, who captures the personality of every dog she shoots. I can't stop daydreaming about squeezing these smooshy faces! Eeeeee....

Can I have it??? Purrrrrrrty Pleeeeeazzzzzzzzz...

Mercury rising - Sushi does a body good

Last night Greg and Ashley took us out for some sushi for watching their amazing doggies, Lola and Kacey, a couple of weeks ago. It was an easy choice of where we should go. Kaiyo is both Greg and Nater’s favvvvv sushi place in KC.

I am not gonna lie - it was the best sushi I've had in a looooong time. Mmm... I wish I had some now.

Seaweed and Cucumber salads

Mmm... Larry Roll, Spicy Tuna and LOTS of Toro!

FIRE and sake.

Gregor and Ash - we know what you were doing G! Ha.

Thanks Ash and Greg! We had so much fun. XO.

PS Here is a pic of the adorable pooches I had the pleasure of taking care of, Lo and K.
