Woulda-Coulda-Shoulda

All the Woulda-Coulda-Shouldas
Layin' in the sun,
Talkin' 'bout the things
They woulda coulda shoulda done...
But those Woulda-Coulda-Shouldas
All ran away and hid
From one little Did.

*Pop* Let the bubbly flow. I Did the HELL out of today! Here's to many more Did's... *Clink, Clink*

Somebody wants some attention...

Daaaaaaaaang, Kelis. There are no words...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Oh nevermind. I thought you had something on your face... no, you're all good.

RIP Madame Serena

Most people remember Zelda Rubinstein from the Poltergeist but for me I remember her guiding "homely" Louise to become "the most popular girrrrrrrl..."

Hip Hip... Rock Chalk!

Big ups to KU dominating Mizzouuuuu! Go Jayhawks!

Rando - King of Randomness

Looking through old pics on my computer and found this gem...

Kate visited me in San Francisco a few years back and we hit up Fisherman's Wharf to feast our eyes on the crazy that is, San Fran. How could I NOT get a pic with this pup?? Bow wow WOW.

suffering from a wedding daze...

I have always imagined when I got married that I would wait to see my groom until I walked down that petal strewn aisle. That was before I saw Jasmine Star's breathtaking pictures of that intimate moment between the groom and his bride.

You get to finally ask him what he thinks of the dress you picked out for your big day...

...you get to experience firsthand his reaction to how gorgeous you look...

... AND you get to have that *moment*... just the two of you.

That party be bumpin' baby!

I couldn't have said it better...

A couple of weeks ago we stayed at Nater's 'rents casa to watch Sadie for them and it was Nater and Danny's birthday! Woot Woot!

We started with dinner and ended up wrangling some peeps over to Casa de Ross. They have the best basement for gatherings...

Birthday Boyzzzzz

Right after this photo was taken that fell in my hair

We split this bad boy. Heaven on a plate. Obviously Nater enjoyed it.

Um.... yes please.

It was my first time playing beer pong...  And yes, I went to college - I am good, ruulllly good.

This was the topic of the night - Heidi, you perplex me.

Sadie Ross

So stinkin' cute!

Hit me baby one more time

I love me some pics from FAILblog and now there is a much cuter version with BABIES! Eeeee....

Don't you just want to grab those chubby cheekers!

Figment of my Imagination

Have you seen the promo shots of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland? Visually it looks like it's going to be quite the treat; vivid colors, over-the-top makeup, smashing costumes, and all the zing Mr. Burton puts into his film for all to see. I can't wait!

In theatres 3/15/10

To get you ready for the movie; jump into the rabbit hole and check out O.P.I's newest nail lacquers, all inspired by the movie.

From left: Off with Her Red!, Absolutely Alice, Mad as a Hatter!, Thanks So Muchness!

Roooolllllllll on

Kinda curious what it's like to use a paint roller on my face...

gLEEEEEEEEEEE...

I love gLeeeeEEEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEeeeee... (that was me singing!)

Exhibit A: Mark Salling. Hubba, hubba. He's crushing pretty hard on his castmates but it's not creepy; it's kinda sweet.

This funny lady takes the cake! HeHee-lar-ious!

Others worth mentioning:

Chocolate Thunder: Mercedes Jones - puts the ASS in sASS; Dumb Blonde Cheerleader Brittny; Queen of all Queens: Kurt... all combined make for one very entertaining show.

Okay so it has cheesy dialogue sometimes with the love-triangles, but the witty comments and banter really make this show worth watching.

deb deb's rub rub - your meat needs a good rubbin'

My hilarious and gorgeous friend Debi is the most fabulous cook (a trifecta of sorts.) She used to cook me AWW-mazing gourmet meals when I lived in San Francisco and I didn't really cook for myself so much -hehehe. Well, Debi has taken her passion to the kitchen and come up with deb deb's rub rub and I couldn't be prouder!

Mmm... Are you hungry?... Well, it is my great pleasure to tell you that deb deb's rub rub will send FREE - yes, I said FREE, samples to you. All you got to do is email info@debdebsrubrub.com your mailing address and they'd be happy to send you a sample of their collection. Woot Woot.

Missed Connections NY

Have you ever gone to Craigslist and checked out the missed connections section? I'm not gonna lie; they mostly creep me out but there are those few that really pluck my heart strings. *Bing*

Artist Sophie Blackall has taken it to the next level by creating one-of-a-kind pieces of art illustrating some of New York's many missed connections.

The writings on the stall.

While I was cleaning/organizing on Saturday I came across my old 365 days of shoes calendar from 2002. I have been meaning to go through them and have the ones I love individually framed for my viewing pleasure. Unfortunately I don't have my own room to do this right now and I am pretty sure Nater wouldn't be all for a bunch of shoe pics in the living room so I will wait... BUT I did find one particular that was perfect for our bathroom door. Behold our beautious bathroom sign.

I'm also thinking about getting this book...

PS You guys going to comment on any of my posts? No?...

It's soup. AND I helped!

Nater and I received a food processor for Xmas from the 'rents (Gracias, MIC aka M&C). We decided to start off slow.... and try making something on the simple side plus keep it healthy since we have started our New Year's Resolutions of eating healthier, cooking more, working out, blah, blah, blah... you know all the usual ones we all give ourselves...

So Butternut Squash Soup it was... Mmmm.... Warm and silky smooth. Deeelish!

My sous chef on the phone with Momma Sally.

What do we think? Minus the perrrrty striped bowl of course.

Topped off with some fancy Andre Champy (from last year; why the hell not!?), Drunken Goat Cheese, and crunchy baguette.

Off to bed to prepare for the next resolution/make 2010 the best year ever - Waking up early and working out before work. Wooo... I'm SOOO excited.

See ya on the flipside.

Do you like my feathers???

My new favorite feather accessory I made. Cute, huh? I like to add it to knit caps/berets and like my Bella headband. Kinda Axl Rose meets Pirate Davy the Disgruntled, no?

Really?

Interesting choice Jennifer Lopez

J.Lo performing on New Year's Eve

Lokulus is simply not new

It's nice having my brain work and not hurt. It feels so good being able to complete these darn puzzles! Woooo... Best $5 I have ever spent on a random item at Borders.

Lokulus - The World's Oldest Puzzle Meets the 21st Century

Mercury rising - Sushi does a body good

Last night Greg and Ashley took us out for some sushi for watching their amazing doggies, Lola and Kacey, a couple of weeks ago. It was an easy choice of where we should go. Kaiyo is both Greg and Nater’s favvvvv sushi place in KC.

I am not gonna lie - it was the best sushi I've had in a looooong time. Mmm... I wish I had some now.

Seaweed and Cucumber salads

Mmm... Larry Roll, Spicy Tuna and LOTS of Toro!

FIRE and sake.

Gregor and Ash - we know what you were doing G! Ha.

Thanks Ash and Greg! We had so much fun. XO.

PS Here is a pic of the adorable pooches I had the pleasure of taking care of, Lo and K.

2010, watch it go to fire

Happy New Year!

A few pics from my night...

The eyebrow raise

We did plenty of this... PEZ and K show us how it's done.

Break from dancing... and please no more pictures!!!

And there were a ton of these kind of pics... Hey, maybe someday I'll want to reminisce about that plate of cheese on the dancefloor?
